Every piece rolls its own "set roll"; a bonus uses the average of the pieces you wear. Flat stats grow with the set's item level (37–39 here).
The Lightning pair mix sets, keep the taste
Lightning Wear pieces from two different Lightning sets (one piece of each is enough) and your hits put Shock on their target, 5% of the time.
It counts once however many Lightning sets you mix, and steps aside if a set you wear already gives its own 2-piece bonus.
